I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2002 with a degree in Kinesiology and Athletic Training/Sports Medicine.  After accumulating well over 2000 hours in the Athletic Training setting and passing an 8 hour exam, in June of 2002 I became a Certified Athletic Trainer. Over the years I have worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer for many sports teams, athletes, weekend warrriors, all shapes, ages and abilities; from the Milwaukee Professional Ballet Co. where I worked as the head trainer, to traveling tournaments for USA Volleyball, on the sidelines of College/high school football, soccer tourneys,  and various clients in Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy Clinics, etc. They all started me on the path to finding something deeper in the healing and injury recovery process as well as the multi-faceted training and maintenance needs of different bodies.

In 2004 I moved from Wisconsin to California, where life changing events shifted my focus to healing myself and facilitating healing in others through bodywork, yoga and exercise. In 2007 after over 2 years of classes,coursework, and practice I became a certified Acupressurist.  In 2010, after practicing yoga for over 10 years I found myself motivated to teach.  Having gained wisdom from the injuries and stories of my clients and myself, I went through The Yoga Company’s 200-hour yoga teacher training and advanced studies programs.  Most recently I took my love of yoga a bit further and got certified as a Boga Yoga Stand Up Paddle  (SUP) Yoga Instructor.

My extensive background in the mind-body-spirit connection, orthopedics, physical therapy, yoga, and healing have opened new doors for me when teaching, coaching and in life.  I am honored to motivate, educate, inspire, support, and empower others on the journey to being the BEST version of themselves possible.  When I teach I love to create a space for freedom and safe self-exploration.  By being upbeat, positive and energetic I maintain focus and balance by "All-Ways" honoring your inner teacher and respecting who and where you are.   I am currently teaching Mindful Flow Yoga, Cardio Yoga Flow level 2/3, and Barre Sculpt classes at The Studio in Danville  and SUP Yoga at SUPasana East Bay in Pleasanton. I am honored to be a Yoga Ambassador for both Lululemon Athletica in Walnut Creek, CA and for Indo Board.  I continue to see clients privately throughout the bay area for bodywork, personal training, and yoga guidance.

When I am not teaching you will find me living a very active, outdoor lifestyle with the loves of my life…my husband, our 2 boys and our dog.  Besides practicing yoga I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, SUP and SUP yoga, rock climbing, snowboarding, slacklining,  cheering on the Green Bay Packers and laughing often.
